   1950 Chevy Truck

Starting with a stock chevrolet 5 window pick-up, initial measurements are taken from the factory chassis. The engine build-up and machine work was done by Rutherford Racing.
Utilizing a 2001 Chevy 1/2 ton 2WD front frame clip, a custom steering rack was ordered before the narrowing process began. The entire front clip needed to be narrowed 8 13/16 inches to fit properly with 22 inch wheels under the fenders.
Once the front frame clip was narrowed it was pulled from the jig and welded and blended. The frame had to be pie cut and flipped from side to side just behind the front suspension. This was needed to blend into the 1950 frame smoothly.
