These adapter plates are designed to be used with a GenIV LS3 6.2L Corvette water pump.
All threaded holes in the block and cylinder head should cleaned and tapped with a thread chaser. All bolts being installed should be lubed with a light oil or anti-seize on the bolt threads before assembly.

This is a stock LT Gen V engine front showing the VVT cam solenoid and harness.
You will need to remove and rotate the solenoid to point the plug down. The edge of the mounting flange will have to be filed for bolt clearance. The pattern is off and you will reinstall the factory bolt over the outside of the flange.

Cut the top loop off of the retaining bracket, wrap and secure the harness underneath the cam solenoid.
With LT4 and LT5 supercharged applications and 8 rib belt kits we reccomend cutting the ears off the cam solenoid and rotate connector as shown using the factory bolts and aluminum retaining plate. This plate is included with Gen V 8 rib kits.
Using the supplied LT gaskets from the block to the adapter and the supplied LS gasket between the adapter and the LS water pump, install the Gen IV LS3 6.2L Corvette water pump. Torque all bolts to 11 ft. lbs.
Installed and finished. Torque all bolts to 11 ft. lbs.
Driver’s side adapter is machined for the factory coolant temp sensor that is mounted on the driver's side of the LT water pump housing. The passenger adapter is machined with 3/8 pipe thread for a coolant sensor, gauge sensor, electric fan sensor, etc- or this can be plugged with a 3/8 NPT plug.
