The L83 engines are equipped with a vacuum pump. This will have to be removed to run aftermarket accessories.

The LT1 and LT4 engines do not have the vacuum pump. When removing the pump you can use the 2 factory oil plugs part number 11602943 (11546665 NLA).

Some LT models use a vent from the oil pan to a baffle box mounted behind the water pump.

You will have to modify the steel line. You can cut both ends and attach a rubber hose between the ends.

This will allow an aftermarket engine mount. You can eliminate this plastic box and run the line to a breather can.
